a.     Hitting

b.     Biting

c.     Spitting

d.     Pushing

e.     Bullying

f.      Excessive yelling/talking while others are talking or trying to listen

g.     Inappropriate language

Teachers at My Treehouse Club follow a 3 step disciplinary method. Children are given 2 warnings, and on the 3rd the child will be asked to sit in time out until the teacher decides they are ready to participate again. During this time, if the parent is present, we do ask for your help in talking to your child to better understand how they can improve. If a teacher witnesses intentional hitting, spitting, etc behavior towards other children or teachers, they will automatically be put in time out, or if it is severe will be asked to leave for the day. If disrespectful, unkind behavior continues and does not seem to be improving, the child may not be able to participate in future classes for the safety of other children.
